~"Beauty of the Night"~
Home
As the darkness of night falls
There lies so many unshown Burdens,
Things from the past that have left wounds
Yet too afraid to Make them known to Others.
She hides them in the deepest depths
Keeping them locked in the most secret parts of her Heart,
While brushing and abandoning all that was
once loved and sacred to her off by the way side.
She begins yearning to find the peace that she once knew
The same peace she so longs for now
Waiting for something or someone to put her trust in
But how can she trust her loved ones
After all the pain that's been afflicted to her already
Anxious to reach out of these trenches
The one she has grown so used to
Tears begin to fall and hit the soil beneath her
As she starts to breakdown and cry
Turning to look at the stars that fill the Heavens
With tears still glistening on her already Moist Cheek
She notices the difference of the stars
How some are twinkling ever so brightly
While others seem faint and distant.
At this moment all she brings back are Memories
Of what her life once used to be
Glowing awesomely with potential and promise
Just as the twinkling stars above
Yet while the faint ones only remind
Where her Heart resides Currently
While gathered around her peers
A simple front is all she puts on
Yet, The reality of her soul and whence she stands
Is as faint as the stars floating in the Sky
As another tear glides down her cheek,
She now feels more alone then ever
Looking up once more upon the night
Her perspective of the stars appear different
Something that was not there before
The image of a man was created
by the glow of the stars,
Both the bright and faint working together
The outline of the stars portrayed an image
A man with arms wide open
It was so comforting it reminded her of Jesus
Never praying before she knelt down and tried,
Scared that she might screw up with words
and fear God might not here, she still tried
Her words flew out like spit from her mouth
Words of Pain, Suffereing, Confusion, and best of all Joy
She once again cried, This time though was different
For her pain, burdens, and suffering were Lifted
The stars seemed to glow a little brighter that night
For she finally found someone to put her trust in.
